CSN EN 50332-2 ed. 2 Tato norma stanovuje metody měření hodnot přizpůsobení pro použití osobních hudebních přehrávačů a náhlavních sluchátek/sluchátek určených pro použití s těmito součástmi a s normalizovanými konektory nebo rozhraními umožňujícími kombinovat součásti od různých výrobců nebo různého provedení prodávané odděleně, aby se vyloučilo možné poškození sluchu způsobené nadměrných akustickým tlakem vytvářených těmito zařízeními. V porovnání s "originální soupravou zařízení" nemůže být hladina akustického tlaku v uchu stanovena jen jednou podmínkou, ale jsou potřebné alespoň dvě charakteristiky, jedna pro přehrávač a jedna pro náhlavní sluchátka/sluchátka, které jsou určeny hodnotami přizpůsobení pro jejich připojení. Požadavky na ochranu před nadměrným akustickým tlakem z osobních hudebních přehrávačů jsou uvedeny v EN 60950-1:2006/A12:2011 a EN 60065:2002/A12:2011.
