1.1Â This standard covers the classification of petroleum and non-petroleum based ignitable liquids encountered in fire debris analysis.
1.2Â The classification system is based upon the chemical properties of unevaporated, unweathered, or unaltered ignitable liquids analyzed in accordance with Test Methods E1618, E2881, and E2997.
