Všechny rozměry v této normě se vztahují na nepřipojené dokončené výrobky po montáži na desky s plošnými spoji nebo na kabely. Tato norma zavádí jednotné specifikace, zkušební požadavky a postupy stanovení jakosti. Je určena k použití v souladu s dílčí specifikací IEC 61076-3.
