CSN ISO 20729 Tato metoda je určena pro stanovení celkového obsahu síry v zemním plynu vyjádřeného jako hmotnostní koncentrace síry v rozmezí 1 mg/m3 až 200 mg/m3. Zemní plyn s obsahem síry vyšším než 200 mg/m3 může být analyzován po naředění vhodným rozpouštědlem, které neobsahuje síru.
