IEEE 3404-2025

This standard specifies the general requirements and framework of data and model sharing across multiple computing centers, including the requirements on functional architecture, interfaces, security, and performance. The target applications and services include artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC), large language model (LLM), and big data analytics.

This standard addresses new application requirements from the trends of computing centers interconnection, computing and networking convergence, and computing power network.

New IEEE Standard - Active. In many AI scenarios, data and model sharing are essential for supporting communication, interaction, and collaboration among multiple computing centers. The framework and functional requirements for sharing data and models across multiple computing centers is specified in this standard. Three use cases are provided for analyzing the standardization requirements and considerations.
