This document specifies requirements and test methods for fresh artichokes, including their hearts and bottoms, of the following groups:

— cynara cardunculus Scolymus Group;

— cynara cardunculus Cardoon Group, syn. C. cardunculus var. altilis DC.

It does not apply to processed artichokes.
