This standard establishes the requirements for the management medicinal gases in all its phases and the facilities involved, as well as the ancillary systems. The standard applies to public and private hospitals, clinics, as well as other health centers where medicinal gases are managed in some of their phases. Home oxygen therapy is excluded from this standard.
