The purpose of this standard is to establish and describe the system to be followed in the regulatory periodic reviews and inspections of facilities for the supply of fuel to vehicles. It also establishes the system to be followed for the initial inspection of new facilities or modifications and expansions of existing or existing facilities, to be carried out by agents authorized to recognize regulatory requirements, since this type of inspection is not contemplated in the regulations for petroleum facilities. It will apply in the following cases: Where applicable, for the initial inspection of new facilities, for substantial modifications and expansions to which the facility is modified or expanded. Temporary Facilities Periodic Inspections Periodic Inspections Specifically excluded from the vehicle supply facility area and, therefore, from the scope of this standard are the commercial space used as a store, the washing and vacuuming area, areas dedicated to hospitality and catering, and any other areas not included in the definition of the Vehicle Supply Facility Area.
