This document establishes general requirements and technical conditions that the organizations involved in the implementation of an electronic monitoring program must meet, as well as the characteristics of these systems, in vessels greater than 12 m in length. All the organizations involved in electronic monitoring are included (fishing vessel owners, electronic monitoring equipment and services providers, and data analysis entities).
