DESCRIPTION

UNE 211033:2024

This UNE standard establishes the construction, dimensions and testing requirements of flexible halogen-free power cables, with cross-linked elastomer insulation and reinforced cross-linked elastomer sheath, with rated voltage 0.6/1 kV for demanding services. These cables are intended for powering receiving or generating equipment, subjected to medium stress and in similar applications, where fire safety performance is required. The cable covered by this standard is: DZ-F halogen-free cable without armour or screen, with flexible copper conductor. a) Insulation material The insulation considered in this UNE standard shall consist of an EPR or similar type compound according to Standard IEC 60502-1, tables 15 and 17. b) Rated voltage 0.6/1kV; See UNE HD 603-1 Standard, subclause 2.3. c) Maximum temperature for insulation I) Normal service: 90 °C II) Short circuit: 250 °C (5 s maximum duration) d) Shealth material It shall be appropriate for the maximum temperature of the conductor. It shall consist of a halogen-free elastomeric compound of type EM8 as shown in Standard UNE-EN 50363-6, table 2.
