This UNE standard establishes the construction, dimensions and test requirements for unarmoured power cables, with insulation and a thermoplastic polyolefin sheath, for a rated voltage (U) of 1 kV, for use in fixed command and control installations. The cables described in this UNE standard are suitable for using in fixed installations for the interconnection and governance of all command and control, regulation, measurement, protection, signaling and automation elements. Especially for installations where a low emission of smoke and corrosive gases is required in the event of fire, for example, in public places. The definition of the performances regarding the reaction to fire of the cables covered by this standard has been made in accordance with Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/364 of the Commission, of July 1, 2015, relating to the classification of the fire reaction properties of construction products in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The cables covered by this standard are: Z1Z1-K cables without armor or screen; with flexible copper conductor. Z1OZ1-K cables with annealed copper tape screen; with flexible copper conductor. Z1C4Z1-K cables with annealed, bare or tinned copper braid screen; with flexible copper conductor.
