UNE 211067-2:2026
This standard specifies the characteristics, design, manufacture, supply, and testing required for single-core cables (and cable systems) with rated voltages of 127/220 (245) kV and 220/400 (420) kV, with dry cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and a polyolefin or polyethylene compound sheath. The cable types included in this part of the standard are: Type 1: Cable with a polyolefin or polyethylene compound sheath, without special fire properties. Type 2: Cable with a low-halogen polyolefin compound sheath and special fire properties. The minimum fire class is Eca. Type 3: Cable with a low-halogen polyolefin compound sheath and special fire properties. The minimum fire class is Cca-s1b,d2,a1. The definition of the reaction-to-fire performance of the cables covered by this standard has been made in accordance with Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/364 of 1 July 2015 on the classification of the reaction-to-fire properties of construction products in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
