This standard specifies the requirements for a quality management system where an organization providing residential placement services: a) needs to demonstrate its ability to regularly provide residential placement services that meet the requirements of the recipient of the service and applicable laws and regulations, and b) aims to increase the satisfaction of the recipient of the service through the effective implementation of the system, including processes for system improvement and ensuring compliance with the requirements of the recipient of the service and applicable laws and regulations. All requirements of this standard are intended to apply to all organizations providing residential placement services, regardless of their structure, nature, location or size. This standard sets out the requirements for the quality management system specific to the residential placement services sector. It incorporates the UNE- EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard and adds additional requirements interpretations, explanations and examples. This standard is independent of the UNE-EN ISO 9001 standard and can be used for conformity assessment and for certification purposes of organizations providing residential placement services.
