This standard is a code of practice that provides a set of guidelines for lifting and suspending operations of loads related to hoists and lifting accessories in accordance with Standards EN 14492-1 / 2, used in stages and other production areas for events. Such production areas may be theaters, multipurpose rooms, studios, production facilities for film, television or radio, concert halls, congress centers, schools, exhibition centers, fair centers, museums, discos, amusement parks, sports facilities and open-air theaters.
