This standard establishes the minimum requirements for the design as well as the deployment assessment and testing of Automatically Deployed Roll Over Protective Structures (AD-ROPS) from its retracted position to its fully extended position in any ride-on self-propelled work equipment eligible for incorporating an automatic roll over protective structure. This standard provides neither the assessment nor the testing of the structure in the extended position for which the standard and/or testing codes listed in the normative references will apply. This standard does not apply to:- hazards associated with on-road transport - free fall events - rollover as a result of impact collisions
