This standard specifies the information to be supplied by the manufacturer of the windows and shutters (manual and motorized), to ensure proper installation, use and maintenance. This standard is written as a complement to European Standards EN 14351-1 for windows and EN 13659 for shutters and external venetian blinds. In this case, the standard applies only to roller shutter with a compact headbox. The specific details of the installation procedure of the products contained in this standard are developed in their specific standards, in the case of windows they are described in Spanish Standard UNE 85219 of installation on site and in the case of shutters in the future specific standard to develop.
