This document applies to wheeled and/or track-laying self-propelled agricultural and forestry vehicles when used on public roads. It specifies the definitions, construction and performance requirements and the means for verification of braking systems on vehicles with a maximum design speed not exceeding 60 km/h. Following items are excluded from the scope of this document: coupling force control; endurance braking systems; Anti-Lock Braking Systems and EBS; vacuum braking systems; safety related parts of complex electronic control systems; trailer braking control systems.
