This International Standard specifies requirements for service providers in the field of recreational scuba diving and snorkelling excursions. It specifies the following areas of service provision: ¾ð introductory diving activities, ¾ð snorkelling excursions, ¾ð provision of training and education, ¾ð organised and guided diving for qualified divers, ¾ð rental of diving and snorkelling equipment. Service providers may offer one or more of these services. This International Standard specifies the nature and quality of the services to the client.
