1.1 This test method covers the determination of coercive field strength, also known as magnetic coercivity, (Hc) of cemented carbide materials and products using coercive force instrumentation.

1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. An exception is the use of oersteds (Oe), which is a long standing industry practice.
