1.1 This practice covers production acceptance requirements for light sport aircraft seeking civil aviation authority approval, in the form of flight certificates, flight permits, or other like documentation. This practice includes ground test and flight test requirements for verifying that production aircraft meet operational performance requirements established by the manufacturer in its Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH).
