DESCRIPTION

1.1 This specification covers the requirements for aerial work that apply to all classes of aircraft that meet the requirements for Light Sport Category Aircraft.

1.2 Aerial work included within this specification shall be limited to the following:

1.2.1 Glider towing;

1.2.2 Banner towing;

1.2.3 Airborne signs;

1.2.4 Aerial photography;

1.2.5 News media and traffic reporting;

1.2.6 Aerial survey;

1.2.7 Patrolling;

1.2.8 Space vehicle launch support; and

1.2.9 Sound advertising.

Note 1: All the types of aerial work listed above are regarded as high altitude. See 4.5.
