This standard BS 1741-7.2:1989 Methods for chemical analysis of liquid milk and cream. Determination of lactose content is classified in these ICS categories:

This Section of BS 1741 describes a method for the routine determination of the lactose content of liquid milk of all types except those preserved with formaldehyde or any other substance which may interfere with the test.
