They are to be fitted with male instantaneous connections complying with the requirements of BS 336, drain valves complying with the requirements of BS 5154, rating PN 16, and non-return valves.
Requirements for 2- and 4-way inlet breechings on a dry rising water main for fire fighting. Maximum overall size to ensure ready accommodation in the boxes specified in BS 5041-5, test requirements to ensure that no valve or part of the body will leak water.
