This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition published in 2022. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) The content of IEC TS 62196-3-1 has been integrated into this document as normative Annex AA. b) increased ratings for all configurations; c) reference to new tests in IEC 62196-1:2025 (Clauses 34, 35, 36 and 37).
