EN 62289 Video recording - Helical-scan digital video cassette recording format using 12,65 mm magnetic tape and incorporating MPEG-2 compression - Format D-10 - Specifies the formatting for the recording of data blocks containing MPEG-2 compressed video, multiple channels of AES3 audio and associated data which form helical records on 12,65 mm tape in cassettes. Also defines the helical track record parameters, the content and format of the longitudinal records and the cassette physical specifications.
