This standard specifies the minimum requirements to be met by the provision of home help service to ensure that people receive quality service. The home help service is an individualized intervention, preventive, educational, health care and rehabilitative in nature, in which a set of actions and techniques of professional intervention consisting of personal, home care, psychosocial, family, convivial support articulate, relationships in the environment and others, provided at home and in the environment of those whose functional independence is limited, or pass through a situation requiring support. This standard applies to home help service developed by the lending institutions, both public and privately owned.
