This guide establishes the right practices in the daze and slaughter of fish from marine and inland aquaculture for human consumption and related operations. Species under this standard are sea bass, gilthead, trout, turbot, sturgeon, meagre and sole. This standard does not exempt operators from complying with other legal requirements as for example those related to food hygiene.
