This part of the UNE 178102 Standard series defines a multiservice city telecommunication network which supports the city infrastructures and services provided by the city council, as well as its composition and its classification in telecommunication systems and transmission networks. The different parts of the Standard are applicable to the different telecommunication systems of a multiservice city network. In addition, the series of Technical Reports, UNE 178107 IN on the support networks of a multiservice city network, complement UNE 178102 Standards series.
