1.1 This standard establishes the requirements and recommendations to convert an accommodation (hereinafter referred to as a hotel, see 3.3) into a smart digital hotel and connected to the tourist destination or smart city, in order to: - share information relevant to the tourism system; - improve the planning of both the hotel and the tourist destination; - adapt to the needs of tourists; - reduce the negative impact on residents; - offer both more efficient and personalized services. The connected hotel that has the infrastructure defined in this standard will have information of interest to the tourist (events, services, integration of offers, security, health, accessibility, sustainability, etc.) and will generate savings in the hotel with relevant local information for the technical systems that support its activity. NOTE This standard does not include telecommunications infrastructure requirements that are the competence of CTN 133.
