This standard is intended to provide criteria for the verification and inspection of low-voltage electrical installations in public premises: by providing a methodology for verification/inspection; and by providing documentation for recording the conditions and values of the verification/inspection (non-conformities observed, damage, deterioration and hazardous conditions, etc.). The results of the verifications/inspections must define the corrective actions to be taken to comply with the minimum safety requirements for this type of installation. This standard applies to all electrical installations in public premises. Public premises may include special-purpose premises whose electrical installations are affected by ITC-BT standards other than ITC-BT 28 (e.g. operating theatres and procedure rooms, etc.). For such installations, the relevant parts of the UNE 202009 series of standards must also be used.
