The aim of this standard is to define the requirements that must meet the vehicle repair workshops for the provision of their services in the following matters: industrial safety, quality and environment, regardless of which apply to them in accordance with legislation. The standard covers the maintenance, installation, removal, replacement and repairing of motor vehicles, equipment systems, components and accessories installation, as well as reform and / or adaptation of such vehicles. The standard also covers services provided both inside and outside motor vehicle repair workshops. The standard applies to motor vehicle repair workshops duly authorized by the competent authority in accordance with applicable law for the conduct of that business, in any of its branches and specialties and subspecialties.
