This standard specifies the minimum requirements for textile waste collection activities. This standard is applicable to all actors involved in the collection of post-consumer textiles, namely all professionals across the textile value chain, including textile producers, importers and retailers, organisations active in the collection, sorting and recycling of textile waste, as well as other interested parties such as local authorities, legislators and the general public. This standard applies to accessories, household textiles and other textile products falling within the scope of Extended Producer Responsibility. This standard does not apply to furniture, footwear, workwear or personal protective equipment.
