UNE 41610:2026
The purpose of this standard is to establish a common reference framework for industrialised construction by unifying and defining the most commonly used terms in this field, as well as systematically classifying industrialised components as a reference unit. The standard also establishes the method for calculating the industrialisation index of a building project, in order to enable an objective, comparable and reproducible assessment of the level of industrialisation achieved, regardless of the type of building, the construction system adopted or the technology used. The scope of this standard covers new building projects, as well as refurbishment, extension or renovation works that incorporate industrialised construction solutions, regardless of their intended use (residential, tertiary, industrial, public facilities or others). This standard is applicable to all agents involved in the building process, including developers, designers, project managers, builders, manufacturers of industrialised components and assessment bodies, and can be used for design, technical analysis, planning, contracting, certification, project monitoring or comparative assessment purposes.
