DESCRIPTION

UNE 133100-7:2024

The purpose of this standard is to define the general conditions for the installation of Small Area Wireless Access Points, known as SAWAPS. The main purpose of these access points is to allow the densification of the electronic communications networks of operators or municipal services in order to provide them with greater capacity. They are therefore designed to be placed in an urban environment on existing elements of public furniture, on poles and columns of outdoor lighting or road signs. The standard covers precautions, construction conditions and installation methods for these systems mounted on existing public furniture infrastructures. This standard, although not specifically, can also serve as a reference for installations on supports specifically designed for SAWAPS.
