This standard applies to telecommunications infrastructure for the adaptation of all buildings and property complexes, for residential, industrial, tertiary and public use, generally owned by a single owner, outside the scope of ICT regulations, and facilitates user connection to high-capacity networks. As an example, it covers buildings such as: " Administrative buildings " Hospitality buildings " Healthcare or social care buildings " Cultural buildings " Educational buildings " Sports facilities " Corporate buildings " Industrial buildings " Data centres " Social buildings The above list is not exhaustive and includes any type of building for general purposes or whose use is a combination of the above. Buildings indicated in the corresponding regulations as being historic, military, national security, etc. may be excluded. This standard does not cover the design of indoor user networks for this type of building. It does cover certain cases in which there may be more than one entity or organisation in such buildings that may request fibre optic electronic communications services from operators, under regimes other than those established by ICT regulations. The design specifications for telecommunications installations in single-family dwellings outside the scope of ICT are also established. In this case, indoor networks are covered. In addition to the requirements of this standard, all provisions established by the specific regulations and directives applicable to them must be complied with.
